Promenoir 2011

This is the official Tumblr page for the night that we've all been looking forward to. The 2011 section 9 & ssaas school prom.

The name Promenoir is a French word meaning a formal ball dance that is usually held at the end of senior year. And this is how to pronounce it : prom-nu-ar

In order to perfect this year's prom, we are hosting some activities to help raise fund for our prom. we will inform you on the upcoming activities through this page and our facebook page as below.

If you support us fully, we can assure you that you will be frozen in time on prom night.

Strut your stuff! show us your talent! doesn’t matter if you are auditioning alone,duet or even with your band. Prepare yourself with one song. You have more than a month to practice and if you guys ‘wow’ us during audition. Definitely you’ll be performing during the SMKS9 & SMKSSAAS prom night :)

details should include : group name, music genre, name of song and artist , band members ages and names. also, info on where every band member is currently studying.

RM 5 per head.

REMEMBER ! you dont have to be a rock band. any type of musical performance is welcome to audition. ACOUSTICS, ACAPELLAS, INSTRUMENTAL BANDS/SOLOIST AND OTHERS.

FUNDRAISER #1 

We are having a fundraiser for prom. We are selling loads of brand new and pre-loved garments , books, shoes, and accessories. Most garments are UK branded. For your treat, some homemade cookies, cheese cake, carrot cake and home made lemonade.

Most of the garments are up for bidding. View the pictures on our facebook profile. If you find something you like, do comment ’ i would like to bid for this ’ .
